This is and honest company, I called another company before them they wanted to charge me thirteen hundred dollars to have a fan Motor replaced so Lucas air came out and fixed it for 533 so I would recommend this company to anyone.

Staff went over and above bringing a portable air unit until the new one was installed 20232025 Had a service call for cleaning and general check up.Very professional!May 2026 service call and general cleaning by Cody very nice and considerate 5*Aug 2026 woke up one morning no air? Apparently my compressor blew a pin. Cant get any worse than when the compressor goes out. Tony was amazing very compassionate was back the next morning with a free standing unit. We put it in our not so big masterbedroom for the next 5 days waiting for a new one... my 3 4legged babies 1cat 13 and 1 dog also 13 or older a ferough we took in and my not so healthy husband and myself tried to make the best of it. In historically Hot Temps this year central Florida our room maitained 80. I lost track of how many buckets of water i emptied every 3 hours. Although all of the parts except freon were under warranty. We still had a very hefty bill in labor and shipping fees??The owner of the co. Worked with us and was able to drop it less than half. Thank You Jesus or In this case " Cameron" as promised Tony was back on Monday and we are in the cool air again. Very compasionate company i would recomend and rate 5+ star

Very professional and credible company. I highly recommend. They were here within 2 hours of calling and were very thorough. After paying and having 2 other companies here and not doing anything to fix leaking in house, Lucas technicians had the leak stopped and everything cleaned up drip pan and more. They stopped the mess that was coming in my house right away. Where as the other 2 companies didn't do a thing and one wanted to charge me over $900 to fix and clean up. Thank you Cody and Charlie. Jobs well done!!!

Walt, the estimator was professional and explained everything that needed to be done. Their installers were very efficient. Made sure I understood everything they were doing. Their work was done neatly and they cleaned up after they were done. Last thing they did was some training on the new WiFi thermostat. Recommend Lucas very highly.

I have never before taken a review down and changed it to a worse rating until today, I had my AC tune up scheduled for 3 weeks ago with Lucas Air. The day before the appointment, we got a call asking us to reschedule because they were too busy giving others that had no AC priority. Mind you, the reason we do our yearly service/tune up is to avoid being one of those people who end up without AC. We had already scheduled time off work for the appointment, but we agreed to reschedule for 3 weeks out as they requested. We kept our fingers crossed that our AC would hold up in this heat until then. Today, the day of the rescheduled appointment, we took the day off work and waited and waited and waited. The 2 hour appt window came and went. When we called to inquire why the service tech wasn't here and had not even called to let us know he was running late, we got nothing but bad attitude from the lady on the phone. We were already somewhat unhappy with the company because they tried to upsell us on a part last year during our tune up and gave us the whole "if you don't replace this, your AC won't last another 30 days" speech. Well, here we are a year later. We won't be using this company again. The lady who answers their phones should never be in a customer service position EVER. Also the reason we ever used Lucas Air was a referral from our realtor, who is great. She will be our next phone call so she is aware of the company's poor customer service policies. All your customers should matter and be treated equally, whether the appointment is a $500 one or a $5000 one. The company should not prioritize their appointments based on how much money they expect to make from them.

I'm so used to waiting for service to show up at the end of the time block. You arrived about 5 min before the beginning of the allotted time! That's star #1. When Gene introduced himself I said 'Well you're probably going to be my new hero ' to which he replied 'Well IDK about that ' but he proved himself wrong and within about 15 minutes had diagnosed my issue. That's star #2. He had me cooling again in about 30 minutes, and after the sweltering week I've had that's got to be star #3. Lastly, I had Duke Energy out to do an audit, and they suggested some pretty expensive improvements to my AC. I told Gene about these and he suggested holding off, as well as a potential improvement that would cost much less. That says a lot. There are companies out there that would jump on that as an opportunity to snag a big job. That's stars 4-5. I've been a lifelong customer of another company that recently sold to a new owner, and I'd heard some negative reviews. I'm so glad I found Lucas as my new AC company.

Poor air flow is causing it to be 99 on one floor and 66 on the lower flow. Could it be a dirty blower motor or some vent flap that's not opening? Have changed filters and even tried running without a filter, and air flow is still just as poor.
